About these images : These images were shot on an Ebony SV45Te 4x5 View Camera. Each image is carefully thought through and then a series of steps must be completed successfully to execute the shot. Please be aware that the Black & White images shown are NOT images converted from color originals and have been carefully taken with B/W film. All of the images shown can easily be blown up to 50x60 with an amazing level of detail

Note: All of these B/W images were created utilizing TMAX 100 film and using hand crafted and calibrated developers in the same way Ansel Adams would process his film with the Zone System. My mentor Bill Edwards (who learned from Ansel Adams) introduced me to these techniques for handling B/W images. Digital imaging technology provides significant controls for enhancing images. I have invested a significant amount of time utilizing digital enhancement techniques to produce this final product.

Note: The outdoor shots were taken in the single digit fridgid temperatures up at Beaver Creek over the weekend. This was a very cold shot to accomplish.
